XhAle Ales – Christina Owcharek
"To be visible, unique, and authentic in how we show up as a women-and-queer founded brand, that makes award-winning products to hopefully inspire others to disrupt systems, and make an impactful difference by not subscribing to the status quo."
Bold but approachable and quaffable, complex and balanced, paired with cured meats, soft cheeses, mussels, chocolate mousse, creative collaboration, and high-brow shit disturbing. Light pumpernickel breadiness, mild roast, freshly picked blackcurrants, and red berries, a hint of white pepper and bubblegum yeast notes, dry and mildly tart, ruby highlights, and pink-ish head

Born Brewing – Erin McQuitty
"We are excited about participating in this iteration of the Beerfest in a Box as one of our core values includes community and inclusivity, and we believe that this box promotes both of these things! We are dedicated to ensuring that the Craft Beer Industry is an open and welcoming space for all people and we take pride in creating space for those who are historically underrepresented in beer! As a women-led brewery, this mixer pack and our women’s day brew are both close to our hearts!"
Origin Malting & Brewing – Women in the brewery
"Origin Malting & Brewing is very proud to be involved in the Beerfest -Women in Beer. Over half of Origin's full-time staff are women and all our taproom employees as well. These women are all vital to the success at Origin and jumped at the opportunity to be part of such a cool initiative. In all we had eight of our awesome women take part from innovation, brewing and marketing with many coming in on their day off to do whatever it took to make this project happen. Origin Malting & Brewing couldn’t be more excited for this delicious beer to hit the shelves".
A blend of sweet and tangy a refreshing brew that combines the juicy essence of ripe peaches with the tropical punch of mangoes, creating a tantalizing flavour experience. Its golden hazy appearance and crisp finish is perfect for a sunny day or whenever you crave a burst of fruity refreshment.

Beers. Beets. Battlestar Galactica. To those unfamiliar with this reference, it is from The Office, in regards to Dwight Schrute’s beet farm. If you haven’t seen The Office, please call in sick to work tomorrow and go binge it on Netflix (Just kidding). This Farmhouse Ale (AKA Saison) was brewed with Pilsen, Oats, Vienna, and Rye Malt, which provides a bit of a spicy malt backbone to the beer. Lots of fresh Red Beets were peeled, juiced, and pulped, and then added to the end of the boil. While the beets didn’t provide as much colour, the earthy aroma dominates. We fermented Schrute Farms with an “Old World Saison” strain, which provides classic belgian saison characteristics to the beer (clove, pepper). The beer pours a very light pink, effervescent, and finishes bone dry.

Fuggles Beer – Aisha Maretz
"As a woman in the industry, I jumped at the opportunity to be a part of Beerfest – Woman in Beer because representation, conversations, and motivation for women to join the craft beer community is critical to its growth. A community that was once considered to be male dominated has evolved over the years making space for women to showcase their creativity, innovations, and leadership.
I hand-selected our Kiwami Plum Sour as it was my favourite beer to start drinking again after welcoming a daughter, so I could not think of a better option for this empowering Beerfest. The subtle flavours and aromas were such a delicious treat that it had to be shared!"
Our legendary sour is a delicately tart wheat kettle sour brewed with fresh plums. The acidity in this beer is achieved by souring wort with lactobacillus found in yogurt, resulting in a tart taste with fresh plum character mixed with a doughy biscuit flavour from the wheat malt. The flavour combination is refined and indulgent, resulting in an ‘out of this world’ craft beer drinking experience.
